Only you, and our staff when they are working on a job you have raised. Contractors see the individual job they are assigned and the address needed to attend it. Nothing about your portfolio is public and the dashboard pages are excluded from search engines.

Do I have to use your contractors?

No. You can keep the record for properties you look after yourself or with your own trades. Where you do want work arranged, we introduce you to independent approved businesses, you get a written quote, and nothing is booked until you approve it.

Do you manage tenancies or collect rent?

No. Lothian Property is not a letting agent and does not manage tenancies, hold deposits, or collect rent. The dashboard covers the condition, maintenance and works history of the buildings themselves.

Does it tell me when compliance is due?

It keeps the dates and documents you record against each property so they are easy to find. Meeting landlord registration, the Repairing Standard, safety checks and any HMO conditions remains your legal responsibility as the landlord.

How many properties can I add?

There is no limit. The dashboard is built for anyone from a single accidental landlord flat to a portfolio spread across Edinburgh, Leith, Midlothian and West Lothian.

Keeping the Scottish paperwork together

Letting in Scotland carries duties that sit with you as the landlord. The dashboard is somewhere to keep the dates and documents so they are not lost between tenancies:
