Tell us about your property
Eight quick questions — mostly taps. We come back with what your home could achieve and the options open to you. Nothing is shared with anyone unless you say so.
Lothian Property is a property information and professional-introduction service operated by Maybury Scotland Limited. Lothian Property is not an estate agency. Where requested, we may connect homeowners with independent estate agents and other property professionals. How we work.
Step 1 of 11: How to sell
What matters more — the price, or the timescale?
There are two ways to sell in Scotland, and they suit different situations. You can change your mind later.
Important
A quick sale is not the same as an open-market sale. Lothian Property does not buy properties and makes no offer of its own. Where it suits your circumstances we may introduce you to an independent buyer able to proceed quickly. An offer from that buyer is normally below the price a full open-market sale might achieve, and any offer, timescale and date of entry is a matter between you and that buyer. Take independent legal advice before accepting.
Lothian Property may receive a fee from an estate agent, property professional or property buyer we introduce you to. That fee is paid by them, never by you, and it does not change the price you are offered or the service you receive. We will tell you who we propose to introduce you to before we do it. How we work.
Common questions
- What do I get from a property review?
- Written information about your property and its local market — comparable evidence, condition factors that affect a sale in Scotland, the routes open to you, and what each would involve. Not a valuation and not a marketing pitch.
- How long does a property review take?
- We respond within one working day of the enquiry, and the written review usually follows within two to three working days depending on how much local evidence is available.
- Am I committing to anything by requesting a review?
- No. There is no contract, no marketing agreement and no obligation. Nothing is shared with any professional unless you tick the introduction permission.
